What is the difference between a KoolAir Pump and a March LC-3CP-MD?

KoolAir Pumps can run dry and a March Pump cannot. The PM500 also comes with both a standard base and an upgraded marine base included.

What is the advantage of having two bases included?

We include the standard base and the marine base so you can choose which to use for your installation. March requires you to purchase the alternate base separately.

Can I simply replace the wet end to get run-dry protection?

Yes. If you purchase a KoolAir Wet End Kit and swap out your March Pump Wet End Kit, you will have run-dry protection. The bases are interchangeable with a March LC-3CP-MD.

What is the warranty on KoolAir Pumps?

KoolAir Pump products are covered for manufacturer's defects for one full year (365 days) from the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover defects caused by improper installation, setup, or user error.
